Gabrielle Rubin, L.Ac, M.Ac, received her Masters Degree in Acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture in Boston in 2004. Her studies focused on the gentle Japanese style, which uses fine needles and shallow insertion to balance and restore the body’s energy system. Gabrielle has worked extensively with women suffering from eating disorders, mental illness, addiction and trauma. While working with this population, she has developed a unique approach, which reduces resistance and pain in the body. This is based upon Cole Magbanua’s Body Mapping system, auricular therapy, JF Barnes Myofascial Release, meridian massage, and Zero Balancing. Her treatments are usually multi-faceted, as elements of touch therapy are often woven into a session.
Gabrielle has supervised in the student clinic as well as instructed courses on Japanese Styles of Acupuncture at The Arizona School of Acupuncture.
Gabrielle is a Tucson native who enjoys spending time with her 8 year old son, writing music and making art.
